lightning/thunder in game sound

Post by Ouchyfish »

Is there a way to gank this file out, modify it so it makes no sound, and slip it back in without file check finding out?

I like playing with sound on but in order to make sounds audible the lightning storms (That seem to spring up EVERY FIVE FUCKING MINUTES in every outdoor zone) explode too damn loud.

Anyways thanks in advance.

even if you delete the individual file, it will still reload in the patcher. I think you are stuck

I was thinking about doing that except I am not sure what criteria the file checker uses. Would it have to be same exact size and date modified etc?

I guess I'll tinker around with it today.
