my eq screenshots dont work. I get the 1.5 meg file in my folder, but the file that it saves wont open in windows or jasc. (says its not valid or some crap)

Isnt there a file somewhere (.ini?) that can change the format ect of the pics that you take? My answer might be there but I cant seem to find it in my EQ directory.

in your main EverQuest folder:

eqclient.ini

all the way down at the very bottom (At least it is on mine) there is a section that says:

ScreenshotType=jpg

The default, as I recall, was BMP format, but you can change it to JPG np.

I dont have that in mine~ actually my entire .ini file is screwed up cause I had to rewrite stuff in it after dx9 patch to get EQ working again. Maybe someone could give me a copy of they eqclient.ini~

nope, still dont work. still saves as bmp. Wtf? hey my mp3 player window works tho. But I cant turn off damage sheild now..
