Gnome anything. I was so happy when gnomes could be ShadowKnights. My favorite race with my favorite class.

So my vote, ShadowKnight. Melee + Spellcasting = total fun. Besides, FD, Lifetaps, disease, fear... wtf what's not to like?

but I also have enjoyed playing a few different classes. I played a bard...heard it was great fun. Someone lied! Mellowdee was deleted. Played a monk, still do sometimes. Maybe when she gets hit points she will get more play. Playing a cleric is great because you can get free kei all the time. That is unlike when you are a wizard. You practicallty have to chase the enc down and beg them for KEI when you are a wiz. Playing a druid is fun and easy and everybody should make one to farm with. Ca$hola. I played an ogre shadowknight to lvl 13 named Bashabunch and then deleted her. Also, I had LOADS of fun on my Warrior. I dunno, I think it all has to do with what YOU want to be. How close do you want to be to the mobs? Do you want time to chat or do you not give a shit about chatting? There are certain things to consider before making a char!

p.. was fun rambling somewhere besides rnf

I'd have to say....Beastlord...they're about as self-sufficient as any other self-sufficient class.

Earlier on, I would have said monk, but "hi, pull that mob and FD while I tag"

Before that I would have said cleric, but "Hi, heal and then sit and look at the wall with a buff here and there"

Oh yea, rogues are nice too, just good luck finding a decent exp group since LDoN screwed up people actually wanting to level up in a decent dungeon that gives xp.

Yeah I played my bard into a few hundred aa's just so I could fuck with people.

Cleric

Because on no other class that I've played have I felt my actions or inactions have such a large impact on how things go. When the sh*t hits the fan on other characters I tend to feel pretty helpless.

Perhaps a chanter would be just as interesting, but then I've seen what good chanters can do... don't think I'd measure up.
