It is a game that steals something and adds something to you at the same time. Something we have experienced that the vast majority of the world has not.

By the way, it seems as though Sinzan and Guild Mirage will go on. Here is a quote from their main page about this memorial album (their 6th)

ちなみに僕やSinzanがEQを引退したわけではありません。

I would roughly translate that as: By the way, it is not that Shinzan and I are leaving EQ.

These memorial albums are composed (in part) of screenshots sent in from people who have retired, however.

I met a lot of good people through EQ, think thats why I came back. My choice of future MMoRPG's will probaly be decided by where the majority of my EQ ex-guildies and good friends go

In the end EQ is more like going out for a night of beers with your buds RL more than it is a video game.

Playing a game for 5 years, or doing anything for 5 years, and all of the sudden leaving it, is emotional for a lot of people. Thinking of being ith a boyfriend or girlfriend for that long then breaking up etc. Good video.

same here Taxx i played for 5 years and when i deleted my character last april i didnt give it a second thought same with all my twinks and plat.

i do have one regret tho i would have liked to have given away my BoC random off in a contest before i deleted tho lol ah well.

Please don't drag me into the Taxx bashing. I had few problems with anyone on this board before, and now everyone gets there jollies by trying to piss Taxx off through me.

THere was a EQ video a long time ago. It was a Trak fight, but it was motion, and it was set to Let the Bodies hit the FLoor or Down with the Sickness. Now that was badass. This video is ok, its just boring. I didnt get through it all though.
