Lecavalier was a surprising choice for MVP though....I think Sakic deserved it more

actually for those of you that have IQs below 30 (i.e. all Americans) Canada's national sport is actually Lacrosse, not hockey. I'd like to introduce you to my greatest invention "a clue" you might wanna get one!

Dont be so sure of that. The next big (i.e with all the best players) tournament might not be for 6 years .... There are no World Cup planned for 2008 yet. And there will probably be no NHL players in the olympics 2006 in Turin especially if there is a long lockout. So the next oppertunity might not be until the 2010 Olympics.

Of course if NHL is in a lockout there might be a some nice players and teams in the worldchampionships in the spring.

Congrats to Canada. Olympic champions, worldchampions (Twice in a row) and winners of the World Cup. Not bad. And best of all you did beat Finland in the final!
