I guess I'm #2. Hrm, Tim Duncan or a pissed off Shaq in the centerless East. Tempted as I am to go for shack, I think TD's the safe choice, especially given Shaq's injury history the last few years.

Off to go update the draft order! heh.

Also... you might not have heard, Shaq is *currently* injured... he's missing all of the preseason games with a hamstring problem. He's predicted to come back by the season-start, but... I'd be worried (as I hope he lasts to my pick).

Also, the people who pick near the bottom shouldn't be upset... the way the system works makes for a very balanced set of rosters... it's like...
Team picks
team one - 1, 24, 25
team two - 2, 23, 26
team three - 3, 22, 27
team four - 4, 21, 28
team five - 5, 20, 29
team six - 6, 19, 30
team seven - 7, 18, 31
team eight - 8, 17,32
team nine - 9, 16, 33
team ten - 10, 15, 34
team eleven - 11, 14, 35
team twelve - 12, 13, 36... etc etc..

So... team one gets a GREAT pick but then their very next pick doesn't happen until the 24th, missing out on most of the rest of the BEST players. Meanwhile, the 'lower' teams are stocking their roster with TWO of the 'top' players. Sooo... it all works out in the end =p.

Except if you're out of the top 5, you're pretty much fucked. :p

Nah... it's not like fantasty football... supposedly NBA and NHL are the most balanced... you don't have to have a top 5 pick to win.

you can get alot of points from middle of the road players also.

no one would have karilenko top 15 last year but after he filled out stat sheets last year ... its like that
