A few friends and I had gotten together to go to the OT for some alt/twink fun in the sun down by the mudpit. Should be no real problem.

Well, some jackass decides to pull the golem and the goons to the area right by the book, precipitating an all out attack on me as I zoned in.

Of course, they were not there to handle their pulls as I think it got a bit too hectic for them so they zoned.

I can understand a bit of 'payback' from the old days in OT, but really. If you are going to pull a mob, have the damn decency to pull it AWAY from the book? That was incredibly rude.

Nuff said.

I used to agro the golems before I zoned up to PoK so that some unsuspecting soul would be squeezed.

Sounds more to me like someone got the mobs on them and went to the book to zone them. I doubt they were pulled to the book to be fought and killed, especially multiples. Considering the spawn point and the fact that the Golem doesn't roam around the pok book is the closest get away.

Bottom line, you probably got killed because someone else saved thier skin.

I used to take great pride in wiping out groups full of newbs at the SF ramp... the entire outpost as a train was very effective in doing that.

Ruatonim and I would have contests to see who could get all the golems and goons to Frontier Mountains zoneline, while killing as many noobs as possible and keeping ourselves alive in the process, the book was less fun, people were too quick at clicking their way out. I consider that a hazard for having fast pussy travel of dumbdowned_EQ_2004.

You fucking died, obviously to these mobs, it means you were probably sub level 50, which means it takes all of 10 solo kills to get lost exp back, one if you got a rezz over 50%, so in other words quit whining and shut the fuck up you stupid mother fucker.

i pushed jangos's shit in when he was playing his cleric... what the hell was the name? something... passioncleric in solb when tigole had that contest... turned out I was about a week behind the power curve and I fucked up him and his whole group after the contest was over witha bunch of fireimps.

I was still proud of myself.

i also got on los's webpage as a stalker named "DethGerbil" and "thaiwhorrre".

those were my 5 minutes of fame.

I always enjoyed hopping down from Uppers in Velk's onto each level just long enough to aggro every mob and pull them into the whiners at the bottom that had spammed for the hour or so before that they had uppers when we left...

Best trainer I ever saw was Eltoc. 'Lope and that boy could train like no-ones business.
Trained a raid my guilds was on. In a strange kinda way, it was hilarious.
