ok research has come to no avail since the benchmarking is always skewed so trusting the geeks here wondering what i should buy
1 price isnt a concern
2 im running AGP slot (not going PCI-E for another year or so)

I second Lyions recommendation. I'm running that card, and it's the first time since I started gaming that my video card isn't my bottleneck.

Yeah my video card is always my bottleneck because of financial issues
But I highly suggest the 6800gt, or if you want the ATI equivalent...x800pro
