Hit and Run drivers...

Got in an accident tonight, fuckwad drove off after bashing the front end of my truck. Two hours later, I am finally home... pissed off, still hungover from the night before, and tired as hell.

My thanks go out to all the late night partiers who were wandering the streets and saw it happen and the one guy in particular who managed to get the guy's license plate # and stuck around long enough for the cops to arrive and take our reports.

I'll buy him some beer or something.

or take the responsible route, and let the police handle it. He will get some pretty hefty fines for hit and run. Don't stoop to his level.

this happend to me about a month ago, but the people that hit and ran me had no license plates

no shit, its about $3,000 worth of damage to my car(most of my front end needs replaced and radiator), police officer stated the fault lies with that driver. The only issue is proving who was driving his vehicle because it was night time and I could only describe him as a heavy set caucasian male between ages 35-45 with a full beard, short haircut, darkhair. It apparently is a work vehicle for his company.

The company will know who was driving it, and will dime him out in a heartbeat to avoid a lawsuit.

Make sure to tell them you neck hurts alot. They'll start getting real scared.

So what's happened so far, Adam?

I was broadsided a couple of weeks ago by a guy who took off on foot because he car was totaled! He couldn't speak english, had no license or insurance. The cops caught him after he wandered back to the accident scene.

The worst part of it was the intersection it took place at. Somewhere in the middle of it the city of Madison, the town of Madison and the city of Fitchburg all come together. It took them at least 30 minutes to figure out who got stuck with jurisdiction. It turns out it was inside of the city of Madison by two inches! That meant I got stuck dealing with a butch cop, and all lesbo cops in Madison - and there are a LOT of them - are total bitches(or is that bastards?).

I haven't heard much more from the police aside from questioning me whether or not I felt comfortable trying to pick the other guy out of a lineup in which case he would be charged with a hit & skip.

I said fuck it, I just want my truck fixed and they were going to simply charge him with failure to yield on a left hand turn and travelling the wrong way in a one way(forget the term for that).

I got my truck back today, $500 deductible came out of my pocket, but my insurance told me that I would get that money back in January from his company.

I'm so happy... seriously my truck got fixed and its so shiny and pretty and I love it and I missed it and I will fucking kill the next person to fuck with it.
