Mounts in eq2

Whats the deal ?..these usefull for speed or something ?

There aren't many on actual mounts at this point. I'm guessing that most of the mounts people are seeing is the one that Sk's get at level 20 and are very cheap. I assume they are faster than walking but not as fast as the best horse you can get.

A couple plat is a lot of bread for most folks right now hehe.

They are good for speed.

SKs and Pallies get a horse at lvl 12, everyone else has to buy one.

I bought the first horse serverwide a few days ago. Cost 2.5 plat. It is basicly like having sprint always turned on. When I hit lvl 42 provisioner I will save up 10 plat and buy the most expensive horse and tell you how fast it is.
