They aren't those horrible disfiguring looking things but very light; regardless they still annoy me...
Any way to get rid of them? I heard there is some laser technique now that can quickly and fairly inexpensively remove them?

the cocoa butter works best if you use it while you are getting the stretch marks. I.E. WHile you are pregnant, and no stretch marks, although I didnt listen, and I now have roadmaps.
ANYWAY, if you tan, it will help hide them, but there isnt any way to get rid of them I'm not sure if surgery could even help, but its a possibility. They do fade after time.

Think of it this way. Take a black garbage bag and push your fist through. You have stretched the bag out of shape, and left "stretch marks" there is no way to get rid of them. Same with your skin, if you try to PREVENT the stretch marks by moisterizing, it is a good posibility that you won't get them, but it all depends on the elasicity of your skin. My ex sister in law was 4'11" and 90 pounds when she had her first child (10 pounds 7 oz) and she got 1 stretch mark, with her second, she was covere with them. She used the cocoa butter both times. I think it has to do with genetics as well.
I remember the first time I saw a woman in a bikini at the beach and she had stretch marks all over her stomach. I was appalled and said "WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR STOMACH" all grossed out, and she said "I just had a baby, bitch", ........ahhhh, the good old days.
