I'll be signing up. Im not putting faith in it being a great game, but I already plan to buy it to see what its like. If I hate it in Beta, I just saved 50 buck. If I like it or want to try it out more, I'll go buy it like I had planned.

No Question... I'ma be all over... even got my meeting scheduled for 10:00am pst. Basically, if it's not what I think it's going to be and it sucks... saves me money. And, this is the time when they listen to the testers and make changes... so I'll play through the whole beta period before I decide.

If they code the graphics as poorly as EQ1, then yes it will have to be a top end system to see it in all its splendor.

But if done correctly, it could look great on a mid quality system, as Im sure most of us own.

That would make sense. Games drive the computer and graphics industry. A lot of the newer games won't be satisfactory on anything less than a 2 ghz equivilant pc + decent video card. That's 2 years old currently and once EQ2 is released it will be 3 year old technology.
