No problem at all Kalec. It's good to look back and see what parts of my persona I want to leave in the
past. 95% of my EQ experiences were really good.
Great links and a great post man. Interesting to read about things back then again and some good and not soo good events. It's especially cool to remember some of the people from way back.
Hard to believe I was 29 in 99 back then when we started, and how different life is now at 36 and years separated from EQ addiction...

Yeah, names like Shawn Craniumcrusher, Nizzar, Tenaj (janet), Kyntaro, Paiden, Hammyr, Hazzikiah, Parv, Mondigo, Manalope, etc.... Folks I used to see and keep up with daily. No other game will bring that fun and such memories. Me and my neighbor, Lanolen, were in it deep. Talking about it at lunch etc... Oh what times.....

There were good people in Sanc, notice my comment about "absorbing the best people". Sanc just had a lot of really BAD people (see: Ixnay), and some of the worst guild leadership in the history of Nameless. I won't say EQ, cause at least Sanc guild leadership never, say, E-Bayed the guild bank and used it to pay for vacations to the Bahamas, like happened elsewhere, but Fell was about as inept a leader as you can get. Not to mention his being a raving psychopath. (Bass Fishing!)

Hmm, I didn't think I was that bad in my stint as guildleader. I certainly made a lot of mistakes, but I also didn't have a lot of the resources LOS did. I certainly didnt have contact with Brad Mcquaid to fix guild mistakes.
LOS had some terrible, terrible people in it Arlos. I won't go into names(*cough, Glubgawd*), but I'd say there were an equal amount of dickheads in both guilds.
Anyways, 3/4 of LOS' leadership were under the Sanct banner at one time or another, so I think it's safe to say it was a pretty good guild, and despite not having the connections and losing people right and left to LOS they managed to do quite a lot.

Actually, LOS had no connection to Brad, apart from the 1 time when Ariel got a sword swapped from 1 person to another. That was it, and it was before I ever joined. We had NO other contact with Blizzard, period. Certainly less than FOH, who had a EQ dev in their guild. We had NO resources in my entire time in the guild apart from the people we had. Period.
Glubgawd may have been a drama queen, but he was an extremely skilled warrior. He was never a friend, certainly, but there was no denying his competance at his class. I won't say we never had any complete retards in the guild, because we did. (Medicd heads the class, along with other such winners as Surreal, Nenlaen, Ozus, among others.) What LOS NEVER had though was retards as guildleaders. Those we had that weren't all that good at it didn't stay long. But from all accounts, Draed was excellent, I know personally that Ariel was damn good, and Tigole was flat-out amazing. Fell, on the other hand, I wouldn't have trusted to be competent enough to walk and chew gum at the same time. And I hate to say it, Lyion, but having been under your guild leadership, in the not-so-mighty FOW, you weren't that good at it either. Maybe better than Fell, likely less barkingly insane than Fell was, but the comparison of you and Tigole was night and day.
