A wake-up call from Luke's jets
Jun. 23, 2005 12:00 AM Question of the day for Luke Air Force Base: Whom do we thank for the morning air show?
Last Wednesday, at precisely 9:11 a.m., a tight formation of four F-16 jets made a low pass over Arrowhead Mall, continuing west over Bell Road at approximately 500 feet. Imagine our good fortune!
Do the Tom Cruise-wannabes feel we need this wake-up call, or were they trying to impress the cashiers at Mervyns' early-bird special?
Any response would be appreciated. - Tom MacRae, Peoria

Here is the reply
http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarep...tuelets282.html
On June 15, at precisely 9:12 a.m., a perfectly timed four-ship of
F-16s from the 63rd Fighter Squadron at Luke Air Force Base flew
over the grave of Capt Jeremy Fresques.
Capt. Fresques was an Air Force officer who waspreviously stationed
at Luke Air Force Base and was killed in Iraq on
May 30, Memorial Day.
At 9 a.m. on June 15, his family and friends gathered at Sunland
Memorial Park in Sun City to mourn the loss of a husband, son and
friend.
Based on the letter writer's recount of the flyby, and because of
the jet noise, I'm sure you didn't hear the 21-gun salute, the
playing of taps, or my words to the widow and parents of Capt.
Fresques as I gave them their son's flag on behalf of the president
of the United States and all those veterans and servicemen and women
who understand the sacrifices they have endured.
A four-ship flyby is a display of respect the Air Force pays to
those who give their lives in defense of freedom. We are
professional aviators and take our jobs seriously, and on June 15
what the letter writer witnessed was four officers lining up to pay
their ultimate respects.
The letter writer asks, "Whom do we thank for the morning air show?"
The 56th Fighter Wing will call for you, and forward your thanks to
the widow and parents of Capt. Fresques, and thank them for you, for
it was in their honor that my pilots flew the most honorable
formation of their lives.
Lt. Col. Scott Pleus

Love the story. Frankly, give respect where respect is do. So some jackass (mapptaze?) was startled out of his frapachino in the monring by a few low flying planes. The little weasel can deal with it.

"drivel drivel drivel"
you know the shit about the leaked CIA operative? karl rove leaked plame's name to robert novak to ruin her career, seeing as she's the wife of the former ambassador (joseph wilson) that attacked the bush administration for using false documents to further their war agenda after he'd been sent to Niger by the CIA's counterproliferation section (at plame's request) to investigate the forging of the yellowcake documents
disclaimer for conservatives that will say "those articles don't say it was us you liberal idiot!!!!!": the part where i blamed it on republicans is just my personal belief ok. it makes perfect sense that someone here forged these and filtered them through italian SISMI. they could've been made by anyone, of course, but i see no reason for anyone else to forge these besides money and by "anyone else" i mean "france" and "italy"
so anyway, i'm sorry, did they not report this on fox news? lol

ahhh yes heard of them...and since the congressional investigation proved them to be false...amazing..
Are you that ignorant to not check your facts?? Again...substantiate your facts...the links you posted are not substational seems to me that everyone of them are dug up from non news source...how about you dig that up on Rueters...or hell even CNN? I watch CNN as well and dont recall your ignorant new clippings as well. . Sorry if your ignorance is showing.
I understand you dont like this country. I understand you dont care about the soldiers and what they are doing. I understand you would rather live somewhere else maybe a place that has a draft. When you become a big boy and can actually show a news clipping from someplace that does not have support groups founded by the DNC I might agree with you...BTW KOS if you dig a bit you will find they get partial funding from the DNC, and the Communist Party of the US. Hell look around at their contributers.
and while we are on the subject...here are the findings of that one....
So a good Soros website...yeah..im a believe now drm you have convinced me.

Greetings. Thanks for checking out Daily Kos gear. I receive 10 percent of every sale, which I will then turn over to organizations helping in the fight to defeat Republicans, wherever they may exist.
and while we are on the subject...here are the findings of that one....
From the "Review of Intelligence on Weapons of Mass Destruction" chaired by Lord Butler
d. The forged documents were not available to the British Government at the time its assessment was made, and so the fact of the forgery does not undermine it.
From page 46 of the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee report published last Friday:
The CIA's DO [Directorate of Operations] gave the former ambassador's [Joe Wilson's] information a grade of "good". . . because the information responded to at least some of the outstanding questions in the Intelligence Community, but did not provide substantial new information. He [the reports officer] said he judged that the most important fact in the report was that Nigerien officials admitted that the Iraqi delegation had traveled there in 1999, and that the Nigerien Prime Minister believed the Iraqis were interested in purchasing uranium, because this provided some confirmation of foreign government service reporting. . . .
DIA [Defense Intelligence Agency] and CIA analysts said that when they saw the intelligence report they did not believe that it supplied much new information and did not think that it clarified the story on the alleged Iraq-Niger uranium deal. They did not find Nigerien denial that they had discussed uranium sales with Iraq as very surprising because they had no expectation that Niger would admit to such an agreement if it did exist. The analysts did, however, find it interesting that the former Nigerien Prime Minister said an Iraqi delegation had visited Niger for what he believed was to discuss uranium sales.
So a good Soros website...yeah..im a believe now drm you have convinced me.

Uh, Bush quoted from it in the State of the Union from just before we attacked them, even though it had been discredited as a proven forgery some time earlier. Go look at news reports from around that time, I am sure you can find plenty of references to it.
I am not with Map on disrespecting people who died over there. Lots of them have absolutely no wish to be over there either. I mean, the army forced back officers who had been retired from the service for 10+ years and sent them over. They sent reservists and national guardsman, who never in a million years expected they would ever have to go fight in a war they may well not personally believe in.
Friend of mine is a Air Force reservist, his job is as a Chinook (the big 2-rotor helecopter) pilot. He says that everyone at the base he goes to when he's on duty thinks the war is asinine, and voted against Bush in the last election. Still, the only reason he hasn't been sent yet is that he's a single parent with 2 kids. Even so, he was within a week of going a couple months back. He certainly isn't some gung-ho idiot who's a supporter of the war, so slamming him were he to be forced to go and then died would be incredibly stupid.

you just said you had NO IDEA what "papers" were "forged" and told me, like a fucking smartass, to post "my findings" for you. knowing all the information about yellowcake forgeries already, i typed google.com into my IE and picked some links off the first page. i don't give one fuck who funds the website. it's the same story on 15,000 different websites
god forbid some people research outside of fox.retard or cnn.whoa. you told me to post you links and i did.
and since you can't be a big boy and do things for yourself, i got you two pretty new links that you can read

correction on that. rechecked my sources on that one. However. it was not he substaniated docuement we used to goto war.
However again I point out
DIA [Defense Intelligence Agency] and CIA analysts said that when they saw the intelligence report they did not believe that it supplied much new information and did not think that it clarified the story on the alleged Iraq-Niger uranium deal.
So to reference they new of the document however they did nothing about it since the points they were looking for were already substantiated.

he used the yellowcake documents in a state of the union address. he tried to tell the entire country that they were buying WMDs based off of fake documents. condoleeeeeeezzzza even defends him if you actually read the goddamn cnn.com article that you cried for me to post

A hardy fuck you to both Drem and Mapp. Any respect I had for you is now shit. Sure NT is a place to come and dick around and sling insults but that faggorty is way over the line.
I sincerely hope a rag head wearing fanatic shows up at your house in the middle of the night and cuts off your head.
I'll be sure to forward your comments to the parents of my two buddies whom were killed.

I had heard of it but had not heard it called yellowcake.
so drem when you grow up and stop whacking off to the price is right girls in your mothers basement then I might take you seriously.
As for you not caring about the deaths of Soldiers you know I have rethought my postion on it. You can go on hating them. Im usre you would have sided with England had you lived 200 plus years ago too..You have a right to treat those soldiers like dirt...thats what they have died in the past to protect. However frankly I dont think you are worth the pixels used to generate your name on my screen. If you dont like the policies in this country here is a good way to solve it...write up a letter stating your dislike of our country, then mix equal parts of Decon and Koolaid. Then drink....

One For The Road
There's amnesia in a hang knot,
And comfort in the ax,
But the simple way of poison will make your nerves relax.
There's surcease in a gunshot,
And sleep that comes from racks,
But a handy draft of poison avoids the harshest tax.
You find rest upon the hot squat,
Or gas can give you pax,
But the closest corner chemist has peace in packaged stacks.
There's refuge in the church lot
When you tire of facing facts,
And the smoothest route is poison prescribed by kindly quacks.
Chorus—With an ugh! and a groan, and a kick of the heels,
Death comes quiet, or it comes with squeals—
But the pleasantest place to find your end
Is a cup of cheer from the hand of a friend.
Robert A. Heinlien

Every single person in Iraq signed up to be there, I dont have any sympathy for any of them. Guess theyre just gonna have to work for that college aid, or tough it up because they were feeling patriotic one weekend.
lol, you get fuckin served in this arguement about YELLOWCAKE URANIUM (yunno, hence the name "yellowcake forgeries") and all you can resort to is "YEAH HUR HUR WHEN YOU STOP LIVIN IN MOMMY'S BASEMENT AND GROW A SET OF BALLS I'LL TAKE YOU SERIOUSLY" when you can't even type coherently 50% of the time?
i have a sweet way for you to deal with all the "terrorists" in iraq
it starts with putting the barrel in your mouth...

Eh, they're just typical kids who have yet to learn the value of skepticism. They're pretty much parrotting most of the anti-war propaganda without bothering to check its validity. I'd be willing to bet most of their sentiments came, nigh verbatim, from another source.
