I need a new bank for my business...because

Washington Mutual fucking BLOWS!

I have a biz account through WAMU and a personal account for myself and my biz partner.

My biz account has these problems:

My bankcard is capped at 2500 dollars per day spending limit. WTF is up with that shit?! This is a business account for god sakes. I need 25k a day to buy computers with. What business in this day and age doesn't spend over 2500 a day? What the hell do other business do... use checks?

Wire transfers take 4 days through these clowns.

When I want to pay a credit card off they hold the money for 4 days even after I paid 5 bucks with the credit card company to have it done in 24 hours.

They won't even talk to me about a line of revolving credit because I haven't been in business for TWO years.... They neglect the small fact that 400k has gone through their bank on that account.

My bill payer service is fucking broken after 3 weeks of telling these shitheads to fix things.

Ok that being said... I need a new bank/credit union for my business.

The MOST important thing is a bankcard/debit/credit card with a HIGH daily limit. I need to buy lots of computers with my money FAST. I need 10k a day bare minimum.

The other stuff I listed as problems are nice to haves but not critical. Does anyone have some suggestions?

Please don't say Bank of America. I fucking hate them too.

I use Charter One for mine, but not sure if they have branches in California

In all seriousness, check out Wells Fargo. Call in, make an appointment with a personal business banker. Not one of the staff that deal with the every day mom and pop shops. If you show them your business plan, and you are filtering through as much as you say you are, they will jump at the chance to service you. Make sure you write down a list of your problems with WaMu, and make sure to get it in writing what they are willing to do for you.

There's gotta be a decent sized Credit Union where you operate. Chances are, at a CU you'll have more pull with what you need them to do with that kind of cashflow going through your accounts.

Excellent... I will go right down the line of the banks listed here.

Washington Mutual is going to be SOOO fucking pissed...

Especially when I tell them I will be closing my account and expect the money to be paid out in 20's instead of a check.

My branch is one of those new automated deals with like two employees and their is NO way they will be able to cash out like 45k of the business current liquid cash.

I can't wait to see them grovel when I leave.

Actually, I used to work in one of those WaMu branches. We had four of those terminals, and each carried $150,000.

Couldnt you go to the vendors that you buy your equipments from and open accounts there? That way you just order what you need and then they just bill you. Once the bills come, just write checks to cover them.

Yah I tried that... but honestly I have 40k spread across 3 credit cards that all goes to purchasing computers on top of our liquid assests.... and at the age of 26 I can't get any revolving line of credit with Dell or Toshiba because of that original 40k that is constantly being revolved (ie: maxed out constantly).

I just need a good bank that won't hold up my funds. I can't believe how godamn shitty WAMU is. I swear to god the fuckass who wrote their policies in dealing with businesses hasn't owned so much as a lemonade stand.

Thats the real clincher for me. Almost any bank will try and do the same thing but through a huge line of credit. The problem is that I'm not going to be able to get a huge line of credit nor do I want or need anymore. I just need a fast dynamic way of spending the cash on hand.

hate to pee on your parade here bud but remember anything over 10k gets held for 2 to 10 days to make sure it is 'kosher'(sorry for the word use Ganzo, no disrespect intended) Unless you dont mind a IRS proctorscope jammed up your ass I think you might reconsider, or put in 9999.00 a day for a solid 4 days.

It does not get held for 10 days, he will have to fill out a suspicious reposrt that gets filed with the government. If he deposits a check at a new bank in that amount they would hold it for 7-10 days or until it clears.

My wife pays everything of ours through WAMU and we both hate it, we've come very close a couple times to switching back to my personal favorite.

This simple fact is that I'm way above moving around 10k a day at this point. Luckily my company is totally legit and not traded publicly so I am not worried. The IRS can come knocking anytime.

Now my money is deposited via a merchant account and it takes 3 days regardless of the amount.

My concern is spending my funds. I still haven't heard anyone actually verify that a bank has a high limit check/debit card.

I already have a business AMEX. My limit is about 20k a month. That isn't nearly enough. I have plenty of cash and need fast ways to spend it. Period. I have no need for further credit. But thanks for the advice.
