pvp is great on non pvp servers. I don't see why anyone puts up with the retards and bs on a full pvp server.

It takes longer than that on a PVP server.

I'm at about 9 days played time / level 49.5 (PvP server).

I somewhat regret being on a PvP server, there are times it pays off, though.

You guys spend all your time questing and exp'ing? I'm already making a name for myself with tradeskills and AH mules, but I am level 26, and in a decent guild too. So when I get my high level and keys, I am all ready to go with them :)

once i found the class i wanted leveling is fairly easy in this game. I also am working on crafting as well as exploring. I dont think Ill grab the glorious 60 in two weeks but I am doing what I want to do. I did try a pickup into the Deadmines yesterday. talk about a cluster fuck. Between the 'group leader' whinning about loot to the idiocy of the other players that 'had level 60 toons' I can see the ones that took their time and learned game emchanics and the ones that did not.

We had the Mage(friend of group leaders) that whinned about the loot every 5 minutes. She was the one that whined the most when a nice bow dropped and me and the other hunter went ahead and rolled for it.

We had the warrioir I will call 'Crunk' Crunk's problem is that no matter the party's condition he would charge in the battle screaming "Long Live the LIght" and 20 seconds later the light would be snuffed out.

We had the second hunter that decided to pull a named mob while the paladin and priest were rezzing after a train he had just pulled. This was the 'i have 3 level 60 toons' boy.

The whine about loot from our illustrious group leader was entertaining. She decided that need before greed settings were fine as long as noone rolled on a item besides her. A ring dropped off of one of the mobs, the ring was Agility 5 Stamina 5 i believe. I rolled on it as did the paladin and the warrior. Luckily I won the roll for it and it is at that time I get yelled at for rolling on a item I did not need. So next bad pull from the illustrious "3 60 toons" and stepped back and gated out.

All in all I think Ill wait till Mar gets to 20 as well as Lyion cause I dont think I can stomache these simpletons any more. I have decided a level or 2 a night is just fine with me since I can actually learn the game mechanics while I go. Unlike alot of the power levels that take 10 levels a night or some such lunacy.

the morons were in higher amounts on hoarde as I recall.

from the Mage warlock I grouped with and his chum that thought the word PENIS! done ins general shouts to the person that yelled at me for skinning his kills even though he was not going to skin them anyways.
Dont get me started on the runs to the village.

I guess it depends on what server you are on.

I play on Whisperwind, and definetly prefer horde there.

      On Medivh, I prefer alliance.

On my new server I have just started, but I am alliance and everyone seems so helpful, and not much doodspeak that I have seen.

If I am planning to do quests in sunrock/stv/bootybay/hillsbrad I make sure I do them in the early morning. Say 7am-12pm cst for me. Occassionally you can get stuff done during the day but it's not likely. Once you get that mindset down it's easy. :)

All my gimpo friends are alliance, so I have to play alliance. I hate all the alliance races. Im thinking about telling them all to shove it and playing horde anyway.

I don't think I can stomach much more Warcraft period

The game had lost all appeal for me a while ago, and just now I'm starting to realize that I log in for the sake of logging in, not so much to log in and have fun

Ive been cutting back and I'm not even 60 yet.

I do enjoy jumping into a few rounds of WSG or the occasional instance, but thats not enough to get me to play for three hours.

My buddys jumped back into EQ to mess around with twink alts, Ill probably follow :dunno:

Guess it is a matter of taste. I doubt I would ever go back to EQ. I have a fairly decent equipped mage sitting there but as it stand The game does not hold any entertain ment for me. WoW for the time being is enjoyable and I wil continue to play it till I tire of it then switch to a fall back game most likely.

be interesteing to see as MOG players get older, and can afford accounts in different games simultaneously, how much business games like EQ will pick up as the glow of WOW wears off

I find that I can take about 2 hours or so of WOW and it just gets boring, though it still doesn't make me want to slit someone's throat like EQ did

As MMO players get older they will have less time to play thus games where huge timesinks aren't involved will flourish. Games where you can accomplish something in an hours time will do better than games like EQ where if you want to raid you have to have multiple hours of time to raid.

Thats why I quit the 1st time. Our average MC raid was like 7 hours.

I'm sure it's cause we sucked Kezz.
