I'm looking to buy a FPS game. What's hot right now? Is Counter-Strike still good?

Is BF2 any good?

What else is out there that's good?

BF2 is brilliant but buggy. Counterstrike isn't nearly as good, IMO.

Counterstrike is not good, at all. (without plugin mods)

I'm awaiting DoD: Source, should be pretty fun. DoD was a blast on regular CS.

Same. My TWL CS:Source clan is in a rut as of late. We can only play Office so often. And with the latest problems with choke/lag on most all servers, it's nearly impossible to play tournament matches.

CS:S has some serious network issues.

DoD:S will kick major ass, I can't wait.

DoD is still a lot of fun for me.

I went to Target and bought Medal of Honor:Allied Assault. Even my old computer can run it perfectly on max resolutions and the game itself is great. Total cost - $10.

download Gunz the Duel from fileplanet, it's an open beta and is pretty bad ass

there's swords and daggers along with duel machine guns
