It's pretty simple.. if you wanted to play on The Nameless server you create a character there. If you wanted to play on Innoruuk server you made a character there. The name of the post merge server is pretty much a dead giveaway that the former outnumber the latter.

Didn't the merged server already take the name of the highest population server that was merged to create it?

Seems like a waste of time...
