Top 10 players that are free agents are way different than the top 10 players. If a player is restricted they don't really count as a FA as they almost NEVER leave their existing team without a trade.

Niedermayer is easily the best FA available. Not even close as he is a top 3 NHL defenceman and ...

Good to see this asshole get caught and fried tho. I lost a lot of coin on the Worldcom fiasco and would much rather have my money back.

Farm subsidies are just one of the many HUGE tariffs that countries pay/impose to help out their own people.

The real issue with farm subsidies in the US and Europe is that they can produce say wheat, and ship it to Africa for less cost than some dirt poor farmer in Africa can produce it for to ...

Nuclear weapons are effective to do one of 2 things, (a) Blow up a Large stationary target (such as a medium-large city) and kill lots of people to make then want to stop fighting you, or (b) blow up a large concentration of the enemy ...

Terrorism is effectively an undeclared war by a group of people on non-combatants of the "other side". Humanity has been doing this for thousands of years in various forms.

The mass starvation in Africa and the rest of the very ...

She said it was all in my mind, I disagreed. When I gave blood, go figure, I went into mild shock as I usually do (minor chills mostly, nothing big).

Since then I have not been back as I don't particularly enjoy going ...

I think that they should be paid well. However, when most sign up for this job they get a guarantee of a large payday, and if things go wrong (usually, but not always their fault) they get a HUGE payoff to leave.

Last I heard, a 30 year employee who has busted his or her ass is worth a big payoff ...

Are the monstrously well paid CEO's worth it?

How is it that every damn CEO in North America seems to get paid so much because the super small handful of competent ones, like Jack Welch, got well paid?
