I have my opinion, and it's been voiced several times over.

I just don't sit here jerking off the game I'm currently playing's developer/publisher hoping for the leftover scraps of his sperm donation to your forehead.

While trying to piss on another company for no real valid reason other than, hey look a bandwagon, I want a ride too!!

I play WoW, while I find it ridiculously too easy I'm holding out in hope it gets more difficult in the end-game. (which is all that matters to me)

If I find that it's pussified all the way to the top and throughout it, I will switch to EQ2 which I know will give me a real run for my money, friends with me or not.

I play a 21 guardian on EQ2 right now and am having a BLAST. I played wow beta and I do admit that WoW is a GREAT game. However, I just felt it was missing a certain something.

EQ2 filled that missing feeling.

EQ 2 classes are much more immersive and you have much more of a choice. I hated the lack of character class selection in WoW.

Skill progression and advancement in EQ2 in my opinion is vastly superior, there is just so much more to your character in EQ2 than wow and I dig that.

EQ2 is harder. It takes more time to advance, it has a lot less hand holding than WoW and I really like that. WoW was just too easy once you got the hang of it.

EQ2’s combat is hands down the win. Heroic Opportunities are the shit.

Loot in WoW felt way too much like Diablo. I didn’t like the way things would drop, I never got any feeling of accomplishment for taking down a big mob and getting loot. It was like oh hey look another ring or another staff for my priest…big whoop. In EQ2 I feel like I have actually accomplished a feet by slaying that big boss monster, because it really took some effort! This is all low level stuff here, imagine what the high end encounters will be like!

I really enjoy playing EQ 2. I’m not bad mouthing WoW it’s just not my style.
