bam...exactly what I was going to say. If you eat right and exercise you will sleep like a baby and fuck like a rabbit.

If your kids don't want to go to sleep when they are told go beat them and put them to bed anyway. If they want to stay awake fine, but the minute they make any noise just go beat them again harder. They'll learn to understand the formula.

Get rid of the pictures of the goofy looking white guy. That opens two right there.

If women are sleeping in my room I feel the need to stay awake and "watch over them" like some sort of guard >_<

I don't sleep enough...

Lyion, I understand where you're coming from, but generalizing that everyone in the world isn't a light sleeper and that everyone can just "get used" to not being woken up by noise (especially very specific noises) is kind of ridiculous, don't you think? Just because you were able to doesn't mean that everyone else can.
I, for one, am an extremely light sleeper. Everything wakes me up, especially when someone opens my bedroom door - insta-pop awake. Then again, I also have terrible insomnia (have had since I was a small child), so that just may be a side effect from it. I used to live next to train tracks in Austin - every single night, the train's rickety-racking and blowing horn would wake me up.

Heh, and I'm the opposite

I grew up a few blocks from the tracks, and 2 out of the 3 houses i've owned have been close to the tracks as well

When I don't hear the train yard noises at night, the house seems stragely quiet, and THEN i have trouble sleeping

My fiance's snoring can keep me up for hours. It is so unbelievably loud; I have no idea how he doesn't wake himself up. Sometimes in his stupor he refuses to roll over and I nearly have to beat him into getting off his back and onto his side.

Once I fall alseep I sleep like a log, but to be honest on non-nookie nights I need to go to bed 15 minutes before him or it's likely I won't get any sleep. He passes out as soon as his head hits his pillow. I've always had trouble falling asleep since I was a kid, but am a very heavy sleeper once I fall asleep.

I maintain an active lifestyle and eat healthy foods in the right portions at the right times. I will admit I fall alseep much easier now than I did when I played EQ.

I wake up if a mouse farts 2 rooms away.

That being said, I have a rat and 2 hamsters less than a foot from where I lay my head.

P.S. Not funny in the least.

That was a generalization, and I realize some have it more difficult than others. Women are by and large fucked up anatomically so it's going to be tougher for them.

The point is anyone can and should get decent amounts of sleep.

If you are sedentary, go run 3 miles this afternoon, drink four glasses of water, eat something extremely light and I guaranfuckintee your insomnia will be less of an issue and you'll sleep like a baby tonight.

Kary, your guy sounds like he has sleep apnia. He should get that checked out as lack of oxygen during sleep could kill him, and it's an issue with bigger guys.

Anyone else have a problem where they can be tired and then have sex and then be wide awake?

Happens to me all the time....

No. I think it's a natural defense mechanism for a man to instantly fall asleep after sex.

I just can't sleep until they wake up in the morning typically...I didn't go to sleep until like 8-9am this morning or some shit...

I have a hard time getting enough sleep because my schedule changes so much - sometimes I get scheduled to close the store...so out of there by 10p...and then open the next day, in at 6am. Man, I'd love to have a steady schedule.

I must be some random bitch then because you, Arrylas, and Jack had a royal snore fest last time I slept in the same room with you all at the same time. It was a nightmare :(

If yer sedentary and try to run 3 miles, you'll be sleeping in the cardiac unit!
