This is one therom but there are about 100 more theroms which all known science is based on. However the fact is they can not explain the base of which the core of science is founded on. They take it on faith. Lets see a popular one by a German Jew in the early 40's E=MC2. Otherwise knwon as the THERORY of Relativity. It is still not a law because the therory can not be proved completely.

This is how Science works.
Taken from a book on Intro to Physics.
The scientist develops a theory to try and explain how the system works. Based on the theory, the scientist can make predictions about cause and effect in real world events.

So in other words alot of what we belive is 'true' is based on a therory that some big brain has called truth.

Theories are just that... pretty much, nothing ever becomes a 'law' per se. Even the 'law' of gravity as originally described turned out to be 99% incorrect. Newton's view of the universe was so 'off', pretty much the only 'law' that remains from his conjecture is that objects 'fall'. In terms of this thread, Tossica was asking for any 'real' evidence... possibly in which to construct a 'theory' of his own. You have *your* theories... and I'm proud of you for it. You are conducting science of your own! Yay!

Maybe you missed the part where I said, "If science proves the existence of ghosts..." I'm at a loss for words here... You are going about the scientific process every time you go witch-hunting. Maybe YOU will be the one to 'prove' the presence of the unliving. Congrats! Bad-fucking-ASS. I'd be your absolute number-one fan. AS IT IS, however, you are contradicting yourself on numerous fronts.

I never said that JuJu or ghosts do NOT exist... I simply said that I won't believe it until I see them for myself... OR, someone proves their existence in a manner I would subscribe to.

If a scientist came out and said that black holes are formed by pixies, people would want evidence of the pixies before they would take him seriously. Yes, Vonk alot of the paranormal is just that. Theory much like approved science. I used to belive that alot of things could be explained away by science. I still do. But there is some mystery in the world that still cant much like sciences theories. I have not given up on anything.

I have seen things that science can not possibly explain yet or can. So as human nature permits I look towards what I can. I never once stated that ghosts are trapped souls. Far from it. I think they are residual effects from a persons life. In a way like the burn in effect of a monitor when it has played a image too long it is a image of his life...nothing more. It is a theory I will admit it. but like any theory it waits to be proved or disapproved.

Last night, I turned off all the lights and went to bed at around 12:30AM. I woke up at around 3AM and noticed the kitchen light was turned on again... I got up and turned it off and went back to bed.

What is the most likely explanation?

1. My GF got up during the night for a glass of water or something and doesn't remember getting up or leaving the light on.

2. I got up and went to the kitchen and don't remember doing it.

3. I "remember" turning off the kitchen light before I went to bed but maybe I did not actually do it.

4. Ghosts
