Some soldiers in war fight because they are told to fight. They did not all sign up to kill Americans. The same as some of our soldiers are not there because they want to be there, they are there because they were in a bad situation and the only way to get by was to join the army. Thankfully our government is a lot better then that of many other nations. We do not threaten the lives of your family if you don’t want to fight for the country.

In my opinion, torturing PoWs is not right. Some of them may deserve it, but I believe we as a country should be above that. Its one of the things that makes us so much better then our enemies. If we do not have the moral high ground, what do we have?

yah i'm a lib too. I was forced to vote republican this last election due to how close the race was but I won't do so again. We really need a third party in this country.
