I would vote dem if they weren't so hell bent on turning this country into a socialist republic on the road to economic ruin. I also hate the fact that all liberals seem to do is loudly and publicly whine about everything, 99 percent of the time without any solution to the problem.

If it weren't for those few small things I would probably vote for them.

Democrats ought to be ashamed of themselves for the crap they stand up for and support. They are dangerous, loose cannons.

Yup, thats us. We go around bombing abortion clinics. Killing doctors and promoting the torture of PoWs. Thats us. Oh wait, thats wasn't the democrats.

Hey...if it saves some of our soldiers, I'm all for torture. They usually don't even bother with taking prisoners, unless they think they might get a reward or some publicity out of it. And in the rare case they do, you think they're sitting around a campfire singing Kumbaya? War is not daycare.

As for the doctors and the clinics, that's wrong.

And dangit, Gyps, don't spoil all our fun! ;)

Some soldiers in war fight because they are told to fight. They did not all sign up to kill Americans. The same as some of our soldiers are not there because they want to be there, they are there because they were in a bad situation and the only way to get by was to join the army. Thankfully our government is a lot better then that of many other nations. We do not threaten the lives of your family if you don’t want to fight for the country.

In my opinion, torturing PoWs is not right. Some of them may deserve it, but I believe we as a country should be above that. Its one of the things that makes us so much better then our enemies. If we do not have the moral high ground, what do we have?

Moral high ground is all well and good when no one you know is facing the bullets. I want my friends and family to stay safe and if it takes smacking around someone from the other side, then so be it.

You can't argue away the mommy instinct in me so don't even try.

yah i'm a lib too. I was forced to vote republican this last election due to how close the race was but I won't do so again. We really need a third party in this country.

I personally didn't even vote in the last election. There was no good candidate. Honestly I am beginning to think Bush was the lesser of the 2 evils. I hope in the next election there will actually be 2 good cadidates.

I'd like to see McCain run.

I think he would have had a much better chance had he selected a better platform in his last bid. Seriously, the average American doesn't give a flying fuck about campaign finance reform. He hurt himself seriously back then... I hope he does run again, and doesn't make the same mistake twice.

I am sure alot will disagree with me here but, I want Clinton back. He may be a shitty husband but he was a damn good president.

I appreciate McCain being a war hero and all that, but I just don't trust the guy.

But you'll trust right-wing zealots simply because they parrot views that align with your own? Let me know how that works out for ya.

I'm not a fan of McCain. His "reform" bill is cure worse than the disease. Not only did it not stop the outragious donations toward campaigns, it hinders viable 3rd party candidates from running.

I don't mean to LOL at you, but your comprehension is sub-average. Try reading your own post again, and then read mine again.

Someone's comprehension isn't up to par all right. To recap: I call you on trusting zealots simply because they agree with your views. You claim that's not true, you don't trust Buchanon because he doesn't agree with you, thus demonstrating my point: you judge someone's trustworthiness solely on closely their views align with yours. This is typical of insular minds.

I think you need to straighten out your tinfoil hat... it's slipping a bit. I appreciate the fact that Pat Buchanan is a Christian (we have a lot in common) but he takes extreme viewpoints and is intolerant of a great many things (I disagree with him on that), hence he's too "over-the-top" for me, and hence your comprehension level is pretty low.

Which is to say that you don't trust him because he doesn't agree with you. Which was my point exactly.

Have my vote. I honestly think its a stupid law. I understand they didn't want 1 man president for like 20 years. However if that 1 man is the best suited to do it and the best for the job, we should have him doing it.

If I met a person that I did not see eye to eye with on many issues, I would have a hard time trusting said person as well.
