Most of Europe feeds off of what our liberal media gives them. How else are they supposed to think about us? You want to fix foreign relations? Ousting Bush is definitely NOT the answer. Start regulating our news sources so that they stop feeding the rest of the world leftist propaganda about what the "right" is doing to screw everything up. Then you will start seeing improved foreign relations and better attitudes abroad about America.

If the same woman would have said something along the lines that she thought that aliens came and drained the lake, it would have been just about as likely, but some how because the statement shows anti american semitisim, she must be credible and not a cook!!! Give me a break Tossica "Could the US possibly sink lower", link an article about protests or something. I mean if you really believe that a statement like this is credible proof that the world view of the US is in the toilet, your really looking hard and skimming the bottom of the barel. Oh here's a thought for you, maybe her conspiracy theory has little to do with current events and is more of a throw back to the cold war. I can't even believe the comment she made was news worthy, but it just goes to show you that our media is looking for and reaching for things to say bad about our country.

Holy shit man, is there anything in bad in the world that you dont blame the liberals of doing? It seems your answer to EVERYTHING is bad liberals and leftist propaganda.

Mindia has obviously never been out of the US. I have. And, in the three years I lived in Germany I can say they loved any and all things American. They eat it up... McDonalds, Levis, American cars, movies, music... you name it. In the THREE YEARS I lived in Europe I never had a problem with any of the *natives.* Never really heard anything bad about the US either. Well, France was a different. Although, they [the French] never came out and said anything to our faces, you could feel an undertow of dislike... but Italy, Germany, Austria? Naw, they rocked and didn't seem to hold any real dislike for America at all. Well - of course the old Germans didn't quite like us much. Not because we were Americans, but because we were American GI's. I'm talking about the WWII era old folks - so you can understand why.

Yep, a German friend from EQ related some stories to me about how her grandmother feared American GI's, how she still considered them enemies, and was afraid of them.

German attitudes today are highly resentful towards Americans. I have lots of family over there. They keep us updated. Most of their news stations get their news from CNN, and then pass that garbage on to the German people as accurate news. (rofl) Do I really need to say more?
