I just LOVE the new AD campaign. Have you guys seen it? What do you think. A little controversial for some people because it pairs what typically would be a deregotory connotation with an athletic non waif like body (Nike's typical target market). ie - celebrates thunder thighs and compares it to marathon legs. Overall I think it sends a positive message celebrating strong, healthy, active women.

Maybe once culture starts to change a little we won't see sites of people starving themselves to get to 90lbs. ya.. ya.. I know.. wishful thinking but I do think this is a good start.

I'm humored by middle school girls starving themselves. Did you read the part where one was talking about eating a couple crackers and 5 calories of Jell-O per day, until she runs out of Jell-O? Rofltastic.


Also:
Day 1; less than 100 calories.
Day 2; nothing.
Day 3; less than 200 calories.
Day 4; nothing.


We laugh at people for doing other stupid things too. I figure if they get hospitalized and don't learn their lesson, then fuck em.

My trainer told me diets were stupid, and he explained it in a way that made perfect sense. YOu limit yourself to 1500 calories a day, and then when you have lost the weight that you want to lose, most people tend to go back to their old eating habits, and they put the weight back on. It's like your fat goes on vacation, but when it comes back, it brings more luggage.

Simple answer, eat what you want, but in moderation, and be prepared to work it off the next day.

I agree somewhat. I do eat what I want but the majority of the time I pick foods that will nourish my body and meet the nutritional requirements that I need. I'd do that with or without weight loss surgery.

I think you just need to be careful not to get into the mindset that you can eat McDonalds double cheeseburgers every day because you are going to be working it off the next day. Another pattern I see people doing is overeating and then thinking they can go workout for 2 hours and fix the overeating. That would be considered a bindge behavior in my book.. bindge eating and bindge exercising can go hand in hand. Neither are healthy... but yah - your trainer has the right idea. Develop a long term healthy lifestyle as opposed to a short term diet solution.

I have changed my eating habits. I rarely eat fast food anymore. Instead of eating fried chicken, I prefer grilled, I did cut out 99% of my fried food intake. I also drink water and tea opposed to pop and coffee. I know i have made the right choice. 12 pounds in 3 weeks, I have energy, and I am not sleeping until noon everyday.
