Do what me and Martrae did...we had those electric dog collars...everytime the kid shit him/herself after the age of 10 months we shocked him...all of ours were trained in less then a year...however the littlest one has that twitch on the left side of the face...hmm..most likely unrelated.

But, Hailey is missing the whole left side of her face where Jackjack bit it off. And sometimes when I am blowing smoke into her face, she coughs so hard she poops. I know thats not REALLY her fault, so I dont want punishment there.

You know those times that you laugh so loud that everyone in the room stares at you? This was one of them, thanks guys.

Talked about this scenario in class today. The professor has a theory that children can not be fully potty trained at one year of age. It is most likely that the parent knows the "signs" that the baby is about to let a load and gets the baby to the bathroom in time. THis came up because a girl swears she was potty trained by 1.

No offense to your professor, but he's wrong. The 2 oldest of 3 kids I used to take care of back in my teens were both completely potty trained by the time they could walk, which was 10 months for the oldest, and 15 months for the younger one. Some kids are just quick about it. For one thing, the older one HATED diapers. He'd pull them off by himself since about 8 months old or so. The youngest one wasn't fully trained till around 20 months, so just shy of 2 years old, but all of them were completely potty trained before age 2.
Note: when I say fully trained, I mean go to the bathroom by themselves, sit on the potty, and go. They'd call for help when done though - wiping came a little later.

My dad said something similar to that tonight. He was watching my mom feed my daughter in her highchair and wished he could eat like that.
"I wish I could do that...sit all relaxed in a chair with my mouth gaping wide and just have someone shovel pureed food in."
