Shaun Alexander of Seatle Seahawks won The Associated Press Most Valuable Player award. The five receiving votes were Alexander(19 votes), Manning(13 votes), Brady(10 votes), Barber(6 votes), and Palmer(2 votes).

It's an shame Barber got so few votes. He absolutely carried his team, moreso than Brady, and he didn't have the easiest SoS in the NFL like Seattle did.

I agree with Alexander getting it, but I also do respect Barber alot, the last couple seasons he has really come on

    I dunno. The Giants would be nothing without Tiki Barber. The Seahawks don't depend quite so much on Alexander. To me, that makes Tiki more valuable to the Giants.

    I agree completely Minrott. Tiki should be the league MVP.

    Plant any top 10 back behind Seattle's line, like KC, and you're going to get good results. Tiki played a nasty schedule and carried his team moreso than Shaun.

    Alexander should be shot for saying Alabama deserved to be number 2 and Texas didn't deserve to be in the top 5.

    That and the fact that he's Alabama alum--fuck Bama.

    Well I think the Seahawks beating the Reskins without Alexander proves now that he's not that valuable. Good yes. #1 maybe. But not most valuable.

    MVP awards almost never go to the right people

    usually it's whoever puts up the biggest numbers

    for MVP I liked Barber too, or maybe Steve Smith
