WTF, have you guys ever seen a Spike Lee film other than X? Go see We Cut Heads and She's Gotta Have It (which is funny as shit), and Do The Right Thing. Mo Better Blues also is good. Spike just makes films about the black expierience, if you're not black you prolly didn't get it the first time.

As far as his 'Cosby' attitute towards rap, which really expands into the culture of youth. I agree with the assesment but I think that damage is done across all races. There's some seriously shitty messages being conveyed in popular music these days. We could argue whether this actually affects our society, but we shouldn't. I do think it prepetuates the condition though, and more modern artists are getting into changing their message.
