The rest of the article was him attacking Mississippi about their flag and hyping his hurricane movie on HBO, but I thought this was noteworthy.

I think his early movies were more about that, not his current stuff the documenteries he's done. And The 25th Hour with Edward Norton was a phenominal moive.

WTF, have you guys ever seen a Spike Lee film other than X? Go see We Cut Heads and She's Gotta Have It (which is funny as shit), and Do The Right Thing. Mo Better Blues also is good. Spike just makes films about the black expierience, if you're not black you prolly didn't get it the first time.

As far as his 'Cosby' attitute towards rap, which really expands into the culture of youth. I agree with the assesment but I think that damage is done across all races. There's some seriously shitty messages being conveyed in popular music these days. We could argue whether this actually affects our society, but we shouldn't. I do think it prepetuates the condition though, and more modern artists are getting into changing their message.

yes I have, for the most part he is a white walled nigger in a 2006 caddy instead of a regualr nigger in a 1990 caddy. thats the only difference.
