Have all journalists/military/etc injected with some kind of GPS beacon. Does such a thing exist yet? Kind of like a grain of rice sized LoJack. If it does, we could end this hostage bullshit real quick.

Well it would be as voluntary as the shots they give and dna samples they take from our soldiers. Me personally, I would like a Special Forces team to be able to locate me if I was held by some fuckin masked ragheads.

Government hasn't demanded all of our DNA samples yet have they? Also, be sure to "innoculate" all of them released prisoners too.

Thats actually a good idea if it's voluntary.

If I were in Iraq (not that I would be @@) and a person at risk for being taken hostage, I'd do it.

You're assuming that you're important enough for a spec ops team to spend the time and risk the manpower saving you. They know where you are. They probably just have better things to do.

Yes because special ops teams aren't interested in hostage taking HQs are they? Think about the latest hostage or any other journalist especially. They would love for nothing more than to be able to smash these one by one and then have some of these released fuckers lead us right into other headquarters. PR bonanza. Remember that scene in Dick Tracy? lol

By the way, the trick doesn't work if they find out we have and are incorporating that technology unless you can make the devices like some of that futuristic nanotechnology and make it the size of a cell etc.
