This was the gist of the story. I see where the two employees detained the would be robber with his own gun AFTER beating him with the pipe. I also see where he ran away when the left to call 911. I then see where they went after him because he had run away. I don't see where they beat the hell out of him again with the pipe, though. That is inferred by people reading this story. It does say that the police did catch him a week later. This would make me think that they DIDN'T catch him after he left.
If the guy was robbing the store and they beat the shit out of him, I will agree with you. I still would have just given the guy the money rather than attack a crack head weilding a pistol, but their attacking him would have been justified as a (courageous and stupid) act of self defense.
So if I read it wrong I apologize but the way it was written makes it sound as if the situation was diffused and they went after him for the fuck of it.

Dude you wouldn't do shit if something happened right in front of you. You talk about enough is enough (yeah that's how people who aren't on acid spell it) like you actually go out there and do shit for a rape victim or prevent murders. Are you that wrapped up in self preservation? Or is it some kind of jealousy that someone you consider to be your lesser actually has the character to do it?

Granted, I don't like everything Old Navy sells, but they pretty much have it nailed as to what is the popular 'casual' fashion. Their prices are very good too. Hey, you can't beat 2 pair of flip-flops for 5 bucks! I buy my business attire at Kohl's and Nordstrom's.
