Sanctuary was there first. LoS tried to rush to the kill. Ultimus (I think) trained everyone.

Had I been hardcore a little earlier I would have weaseled my way in LoS.

Basically, Sanc was fighting Klandicar, who was sought after because he dropped a key component for Sleeper's Tomb, and yuou needed 1 key per person, so they were important. Suddenly, Cargalia shows up where they're fighting, and completely wipes them out. LOS swoops in and ganks Klandicar. Probably the best NT drama EVER followed, as Sanc accused LOS of training them, Ixnay went particularly frothingly mad as well. They first accused Manalope of doing it, but given that I was 2 feet behind him in the tunnel from Siren's Grotto when it happened, I knew he hadn't done it. Sanc was sure someone from LOS had done it, but had no proof, and some LOS people were able to show that Cargalia DID indeed roam where they were fighting occasionally, so the board drama died out somewhat.
(In truth, it WAS a LOS person that trained Cargalia, Thatia, but that didn't come out definitively til much later). Anyway, Fell and his more hardcore cronies wanted revenge, so they hatched a "Cunning Plan" to strike back against LOS. So, one night, when we were doing The Dain for like the 20th time (we were already thoroughly sick of the fight), Fell & Co. go out and deliberately start the 10th ring war specifically intending to lose, because they knew when that happened everything inside the dwarf town would despawn, including The Dain.
So, there we were, with The Dain maybe half dead, when suddenly *poof*, everything vanishes, and we almost immediately figure out what happened. Just about everyone in LOS starts laughing our ass off privately, and off to the boards we went, and a new drama thread erupts that nearly equals the Cargalia thread. We also contacted the GM at the time, and several people in Sanc ended up getting suspended and/or banned for doing it. Plus, it served as further proof that Fell was a complete raving psycho, and served as the final trigger that caused Sanc to implode, and I think literally a dozen+ Sanc members deguilded over it within a week.

As I said, our opinion always was, "OK, if you want to claim to be as good as us, you need to BE as good as us, and actually beat us to the punch, then win the fight. You fail either one, the mob's ours."
