I think it's pretty silly to assume anything...
we have word from a real life friend that he died. that's what we know.
if you're skeptical, okay...but in the meantime, someone giving him a call isn't a big deal. takes a real ass (even if you are ralph) to be mad that this many people who are concerned that you DIED.
and I really don't think he would do anything to any of us for being concerned. *if* he took an internet hiatus. which, like I said, is a lot to assume when we heard from his real life friend that he died.

Well Darc I guess we are just on two different viewpoints and its not going to change.
If I heard a fucking rumor that someone supposedly got an email (that they themselves have not even verified) saying that someone I was close to on these boards died, and I had there number you would be I would be calling them to try and figure out what was going on. I think Araby sums it up pretty well. Even if they had passed and someone picked up I would want to offer their family condolences, its is normal to care about people you are close to.
That's the last I am going to address that point just because I don't understand your view point and I never will, but I respect it enough that I don't want to go back and forth about it over and over.

He was in Irvine...I remembered because I used to live in Tustin and Irvine was right across the street from our house.

I just called the Orange County Coroner's Office. I spoke to a woman there and told her that we have a friend that's been missing since early August, and that he supposedly died from injuries from a head-on collision. She did a search on their computer system for a Ryan Carter death in all of Orange County from August 2nd to October 2nd. She said nobody by that name has died in Orange County in any of that time frame. Then she did a John Doe search, but all "John Does" were accounted for and none were deaths as a result of a car crash.
Here's the OCCO number (in case any of you don't believe I made the call). In fact I just hung up with her about 3 minutes ago.
ORANGE COUNTY CORONER DIVISION
2700 S. Bristol St., Santa Ana, CA 92704

Now, it's quite possible that this accident occured maybe in San Diego County, Los Angeles County, Riverside County, or whatever. Somebody else can call those.

Don't know, could have been anywhere. It sounded like from Goose's email that they hadn't been in close contact for awhile (if I read that right) and from what the co-president or whatever said in his email it sounds like within the next month or so they're shutting their doors so I doubt it was moving anywhere.

I am glad to know I am not the only one who thinks this story is a crock of shit.
This is the biggest hoax on NT since Vonkaar tried to convince everyone he isn't Mindia.
He died in the hospital a couple weeks after the crash. That makes a difference, doesn't it?
