It freaked me out when I realized what happened. About 5 years ago I was really sick. Doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong with me for over 3 months. What they finally found out was that my liver filtered and stored excess copper that caused the symptoms I was showing. They were constant nausea, vomiting, dillusions and blackouts. I was in bed for nearly a month.
Anyway, one night when I was feeling my worst and thought I was actually about to die, I swear to all that is holy that a man walked into my room with a baboon on a leash. Yes, a freaking baboon! He walked around to my side of the bed and the baboon crawled up onto my chest and sat there. I couldn't move to stop it and I couldn't breath and thought that this was it.. I was going to die! Then, one of my cats came into the room and hissed at the baboon. It looked at the man and climbed down off my chest ( I could breath again) and they left through the bedroom door. My cat stayed with me for the rest of the night and came to sleep with me every night after until they diagnosed me properly and treated me.
It freaked me out when I remembered what happened. I hadn't thought of ghosts as real until then. Now, I am a firm believer that there is definately something otherworldly. Its just an odd story I thought some of you might like to hear.

That's cool though, to each their own.

What blows my mind is that in this day and age people still shout "Hallucinations, drugs, you're a retard" etc at the first sign of something they might not be able to immediately explain.
