I don't think this is really "new" but sort of funny either way.
I also know there is an oustanding issue regading Nestle Bottled water and how it comes from Lake MI (iirc), different issue (e.g. is there environmental risk / affect, etc), but it seems that just bottling your own water from the tap is still the best thing to do
bottled water is stupid. it doesn't make sense. filtered water makes sense, yet I still drink tap water. I know some people can't do this. I have family that live 45 minutes from me whose water smells like rotten eggs (I think that's sulfur) and they use a water cooler to drink from and they have a filter also. I wouldn't want to drink that water, either. In this case I think it's alright. it costs more to drink bottled water than it does to fuel your car.

That is a big no-no.
Refilling those plastic bottles with water and reusing them is begging for illness. You may have been lucky up until now and haven't had a single incident, but it's just that, luck.
Reuse those plastic bottles ONCE, no more.
How do you like this spoiler, motherfucker? -Lyion
Yeah I was going to say something about that too, I just am too lazy to go find the statistical evidence. Someone told me it was really bad for you when they saw me filling up from our office water cooler using the same bottle.
I'll read more of that as it may mention this part, but as I understood it, the cleaning process that causes the problem is the heat. Say you boil the bottles or put them in your dishwasher, etc.
All I know is some food/water plastics I can actually taste in the food/water, and if I can taste it, that makes me think it isn't such a good thing.
i have a nalgene bottle that i refill everyday over and over and take everywhere and i have a brita filter. fuck buying bottle water it's a dumb ripoff.
Chances are very good that you've never touched Linux a day in your pathetic life.

Only $5.00 for a case of 30 at costco!
nalgene is more efficient esp. considering how much water i drink
