Well, I think my view point is the best and will continue to think that way until someone shows me a better way.

I'm not a racist, I don't use the word and don't care who does but it doesn't change me, my thoughts or how I feel.

You can't please everyone all the time. The Constitution grants us free speech and you can't expect the Constitution to make an apology when an ignorant person abuses this right by using racial slurs.

Reminds me of the story I heard on the radio a few years ago. A legal organization (they were white supremacists) adopted a highway and drivers who saw the sign and knew of the organization complained and did not want the name of their organization on the side of the highway.

Reminds me of the Confederate Flag. It was taken down because too many people were offended. Were they *really*? Did they know why the flag was there, where it came from and what it stood for? Doesn't matter now, the fact that it offended someone was just too much, nevermind the people who cared about it for what it was truly a symbol of.

Touche. Ok, then it would seem to me that censoring certain words isnt really the answer. Maybe the admins just need to step up their punishing of infringments a bit more. If there are rules, then enforce them. THEN no one can cry about censorship or racism because it is just a matter of the forum rules being enforced, which everyone should have read when they signed up. (And those who have been here for a while should know the rules anyway). Then, everyone wins... no censorship and no racism running amuck. AND the admins get to have fun with their admin abilities!
