our boy is either going to be Charles Roy Staggs, IV and we are going to call him Everly or he is going to be William Everly Staggs with the short Liam or Wes but I'm still going to call him Everly. so many possibilities! Charles' (my husband) dad is Chuck. Charles is just Charles. Everyone he knows seems to want to call him something other than Charles. Everly is due in a few weeks!

imho i would name him charles everly staggs and then call him everly, mostly because i don't feel like it makes sense to call him everly if everly isn't actually in his name anywhere, haha. (p.s. i really like the name everly.)

just my 2cp. i'm excited for you; you look radiant in your FB pictures.

thanks Leah I appreciate the input, seriously not sure Charles wants to deviate from William Everly but we'll see. I'm ready for this baby to be squeezed out already! gah! 3 more weeks? maybe two? maybe this weekend? great goodness. Children are so disrespectful even in the womb, deciding for themselves when to arrive. but if he's gotta stay in longer then that's fine too. (Dec 31 at least, Everly, let's get the tax break. Please.)

just saw this and thought I would update the 'fucked up name' blog we have going here.

Seriously? Jaython? You are going to curse your kid with slurred speech even before he's born? It thounds like you were trying to thay JAY SON but it came out jaython. I fucking hate you.

Can't wait to leave Texas. Oh, we're moving to Portland, OR next month. Yay. Of course, up there we'll probably meet kids named Moonbeam, Hemp and Weeeeejjjj.

It won't matter. My name is Jason yet almost everyone calls me J, Jay. Folks mispell it, Jayson.

Jaython, yeah, sorry but I think that's stupid.

My son was born at 2:26am.

Noah Jack Harrison, 3lbs. 7oz.

He is breathing on his own 2 months early, no oxygen necessary, and perfectly healthy for being early as hell!

Yay us.

Isn't Jack short for Jonathon? Noah is my newest nephews name as well. Good choice.

Congrats sir. And thank you for giving him a normal fucking name. :arms:

My update: We are packing up the family and heading to Portland on Sunday (3-25). I actually had two job offers to consider over the weekend... felt like Lebron James all weekend, comparing the two offers side by side. I made my decision live on TV

wait, no... I sent them an email and all is well... totally looking forward to starting my new life with the liberals

I will TERRIBLY miss my giant family in Texas. But, that's the only thing I'll look back at... Screw this place, Texas sucks so bad.
