Ok so it deepens a bit...

I go to several servers with "low" population. It means nothing, they still lag like the others equally.

So I started to think of possible reasons, and I'm thinking item database calls. (much like the problems in SWG, but not errors, just lag)

Something is straining the servers regardless of population.

Because you can fight, kill, do anything that doesnt involve an item being looted, or changed.

Abilities are fine, everything is really. But the items issue is when you have to wait for the server to return your "process"

last night a guy in group in blackrock was getting over 1k ping, rest of us was 200 and under, on beta 1. he reset his modem and it was to where rest of us were.

Perhaps this could be your problem if experiencing bad lag on low servers.

On server 1, only places i get lag is ironforge and goldshire area, rest i have np at all.

on Realm 5 there is occasional bursts of lag - normally last 10 seconds or so and mostly noticeable when you try to loot.
