...and I need you guys' opinion. We both have a mutual friend named Jose who passed away back in September. He left behind a beautiful girlfriend whom he had a serious relationship with although he was 27 and she was 19. Months later, she's kinda eludes to my friend that she might be interested. My friend, being the kind of guy he is, is certain that if he wanted to he could fuck her brains out. The only dilemma is that he was good friends with Jose. So he asked me, "Dude do you think it would be just wrong if I banged Jose's chick?" I truthfully couldn't respond. Part of me says "Do it, you've both comes to terms with your loss and have moved on. Why not?" and the other half of me says "Man, that's fucked up."

What's your position on banging a dead friend's girlfriend?

Well...not being a guy you can probably discount my opinion but here it is anyway.

Banging her just to bang her is fucked up. At the very least it's disrespectful to the memory of your dead friend. He cared for this girl and using her like that is about the same as pissing on his grave.

Even pursuing her for a serious relationship is iffy.

I will agree with Martrae on all but one point. I think that if he did pursue a serious relationship with her, it would not be a bad thing. His friend loved this girl, and I am sure that the deceased would be pleased in knowing that he is taking care of her, even after he is gone.

Well, I wouldn't say that they were in love, but they were working in that direction. They hadn't been together long enough to be love. Jose was with her like...2 or 3 months ish.

Even if they weren't in love, it would still be wrong to use her as just a fuck.. even if he were alive, think about it.. if you broke up with your gf, had been dating just a couple months but cared about her a lot and had a clean breakup and still cared about her.. how would you feel about your good friend boinking her for the sake of boinking just 2 months after you broke up with her?

A relationship, maybe.. but only if it was taken slowly, at least at first. Fucking her just to fuck her is really disrespectful and says quite a bit about both of them if they were to do it

I'm sure most of the guys on NT would disagree and say just do it, but its just not right.

Remeber the dead, dont live your life scared of what the deceased will think. You have to live YOUR life.

If he was looking down, he would probably be happy that his friend was hooking up with someone he was interested in. If they get together and have a good relationship then Jose would be comforted in knowing that his death had a purpose, and that said lady would be happy and well taken care of.

Jesus this is a dumb question, some people amaze me with their sniveling ........oh thats not right, Jose would not have wanted that. Its not fucked up, its not bad morales, its not deceitful, its not harmful in any way. There is NO issue.
