I'm getting the no-incision variety so it should be less invasive than normal, which will be nice I guess. I still don't like the though of anything jabbing into my sack but oh well. A little pain now is better than 18 years of it on accident haha.

*shrug* Most of the guys I know of that have had it done are married (happily) and have had all the kids they ever plan on having. So, they have it done so that they can have sex with their wife without either one of them having to worry about birth control at all.

In that context, it makes quite a bit of sense.

Exactly. Both my wife and I hate rubbers and she cannot take any type of birth control pills.

So this is the perfect solution. It's something we've talked over and thought about for a long time.

Had it done and it's no biggie. Had it done by a doctor co-worker (urologist) after hours with just me him and his nurse. Most important thing is STAY OFF YOUR FEET FOR 72 HOURS. If you do that, you will have zero problems 99 percent of the time. Get up and move too early and it's swollen nutsack and frozen veggies for a week.

Gid's getting it done in 5 or so years. That gives us time to reeeally decide if we are insane enough to have a 3rd, which we probably wont.
We dont wear condoms and I'm rarely on birth control, it's mostly the pull and pray method that we use. I'm going on an IUD soon and when we take it out, it will be time to decide, kid or snip.

i'm on the pill but josh has talked about a vasectomy before because he's positive that he doesn't want kids. i told him to think about it very seriously and if he ever decided to go through with it, he better be sure to freeze some lil swimmers first. he won't do it, if you ask me, both because there's no way he can be sure at this age that he doesn't want kids, and because his mom would KILL him if he didn't give her grandbabies. mine, too, probably.

I use the withdrawl and calendar technique. Has yet to fail and I've been fucking for 25 years.

Both my kids took less then two months to begin the baking process.

I've thought about this procedure so you'll need to post once it is done to give up all the details !!

You both are WAY too fucking young to make a decision like that IMHO (good idea on waiting, leah). In todays society it seems many (maybe even most) people don't have kids until near 30, at 22 -25 having a procedure to sterilize yourself seems a bit much.

BTW, any man that makes his woman get her tubes tied to "sterilize" the relationship is a pussy.

That was never a even an option. Why put her through all that shit? Nah, it's easier for me and safer in the long run.
