I sincerely hope and pray that the teaching of Creationism wins, hands down.

It's not a trial, it's a hearing by the Kansas BoE.
If they want to teach about the Christian creation myth in Science class, they're going to get their asses handed to them by the courts. If they want to teach some kind of comparative religion class, I'll volunteer to teach a week on Zen Buddhism, and a week on the Norse Gods - you can teach a week on Christians, then we can get Ganzo to come in and do Orthodox Judaism. Lyion would, I'm sure cover Catholicism (then Arlos can come in and do Lapsed Catholicism. ).
Who wants to do: Islam, Hinduism, Zoroastrianism, Wiccan, Druidism, Greek Gods, etc? Volunteers?

And I furthermore believe that if parents of other religions don't want their children to be taught the truth then their child can sit out of those particular classes and learn other things.

By that thinking we could just say. If you dont want your childreen to learn the truth, they can just sit out of the evolution discussions.

I look forward to the day they point out the Biblical Flood story is a rehash of the Babylonian epic of Gilgamesh stolen and re-written by the Jews....
