sending doug flutie out to drop kick a field goal maybe

That was an extra point

Holy shit, get a fucking clue. If your team can't perform, it's their fault 100%.
Stop them from scoring and put down the emo.

Also I have no problem at all with backups trying to score more points and move the football either since they can always use some game time to work on their skills.
I think the main problem is with a team having their starting unit on the field with 6 minutes to go when they're up by 30, regardless of what they're doing on 4th downs.
Well, like I said: I suspect that someone one of those humiliated teams will, on the 2nd time they play the pats this season WILL do something about it: Do their best to snap Brady's ACL into 47 pieces. And guess what, lots of people won't blame them for it, either.

I pointed out that nobody snapped Manning's ACL in 2004 or the next year because of it. (Or any QB that blew out opponents frequently.)
And I'm not sure what the last part means. Some people think it's okay to try and significantly injure others because of the outcome of a game? The only people I can think of who would condone that behavior are criminals or psychotics. Most sane people would try to actually play better and blow that team out next time instead.
If people you don't know are destroying you in a pickup basketball game, do you try to exact revenge by making them step on your foot, Bruce Bowen style?
numatu wrote:What do you define 'arrogant cunts' as? Just playing?
As far I've heard or read, there's been no criticism from any opposing player over the verbal actions of any Patriot player, only that they're playing a little too well for their comfort.
Also, Matt Cassel lead the last TD drive against the Redskins; Brady left the game with 9-10 minutes left in the 4th Quarter. And Kyle Eckel ran the ball in for the last TD against the Cowboys.
Was steamrolling Crimson Tempest to kill the Statue of Rallos Zek being arrogant cuntbags, or just wanting the play the game (and doing it well) after they had their shot? It's the same mentality. Those that don't know or understand the people and their situation, and those that hate just to hate (like those that hated LoS) will pre-form their opinions ahead of time regardless of what is actually occurring, and blind themselves to it.

In all my sports years, in all the sports i have played (semi pro and pro), i have always been an advocate of not running up the score. I am also an advocate of showing class, and not humilating teams/people. I believe we as athletes need to set a standard, and be a role model for kids growing up.
Running up the score does nothing, and sets a bad example for kids watching.
Here are just some of the scores of the San Francisco-Atlanta series during Young’s tenure leading the post-Montana 49ers:
* 1992 – San Fran 56, Atlanta 17
* 1992 – San Fran 41, Atlanta 3
* 1994 – San Fran 42, Atlanta 3
* 1994 – San Fran 50, Atlanta 14
