I'd go with a beastlord if you're just starting up now. It's a good class for solo or for grouping, plus it's not a class that is heavily dependent upon gear like a pure melee class.

Every expansion eventually gets watered-down and allows lesser equipped players to progres.. New AA, new gear, new weapons allow it. If guilds that skipped VT and gear up through LDoN/ ornate / BoT can jump to Elementals and Time, the same guilds will be able to do most of the lower and mid end GoD ...

By the time the lag disappeared, I realized we failed the script. I haven't been to PoW since the DX9 and I won't be there any time soon but the huge increase in FPS down at the script area makes the encounter less-than-sucky.

Maybe they thought they were in Ssra cockblockin other guilds on the Curse cycle? Guardian of Coirnav does look a lot like a Taskmaster in the dirty water in PoW.

It's not so much that shaman DPS sucks, it's that we can't do our DPS without taking agro. The agro modifier on our poison dots is stupidly high. Last time I actually calculated it (back in VT on named) I was doing over 200 DPS... I wouldn't say that "sucks"... but it's not consistent and ...
